1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility
By using InquiryCycle, you agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and InquiryCycle LLC (the "Company", "we", or "us"), governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and an authorized educator, school administrator, or adult acting on behalf of an educational institution to create an account. Students do not create accounts and must only join sessions under the direct supervision of an authorized educator. If you are using the service on behalf of an educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these terms.
2. Description of Service
InquiryCycle is a presentation and engagement tool for educators. We provide AI-assisted generation of inquiry decks and real-time student interaction features.
3. Acceptable Use
Educators are responsible for moderating student content in their live rooms. While InquiryCycle provides automated profanity filtering, the teacher remains the final moderator of content displayed on the classroom screen.
4. Ephemerality Clause
You acknowledge that student rooms and submission data are explicitly designed to be temporary. InquiryCycle makes no guarantees regarding the persistence of student data and intentionally deletes it within 24 hours. Teachers should export PDF Session Summaries if they wish to keep records of student work.
5. User-Generated Content & Operational License
InquiryCycle is designed to empower educators while respecting their intellectual property. By creating, generating, or saving an Inquiry Deck on InquiryCycle, that Deck is saved exclusively to your Private Library. We do not distribute your decks to a public community library without your explicit consent. You retain full ownership of your original ideas and the resulting presentation formats.
To provide the service, you grant InquiryCycle a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, export (e.g., as PDF), and transmit your content (including to third-party AI services like Google Gemini) solely for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
6. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) & Disclaimers
Do not upload sensitive data. When using our AI generation features (such as uploading PDFs or documents as references), you are strictly prohibited from uploading any documents that contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of students, staff, or any third parties. InquiryCycle processes uploaded documents via third-party AI services (e.g., Google Gemini) to generate decks. We disclaim any liability for the unauthorized disclosure of PII resulting from your violation of this clause.
AI Disclaimer: Inquiry Decks are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for high-quality educational alignment, the AI may occasionally generate inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate content. The Educator is solely responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before presenting it to students.
7. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
If you purchase a Pro or District subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees associated with the chosen plan. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle. Due to the digital nature of the service and the upfront costs of AI generation, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
